Guest guest
Rhonda, I have experienced disturbing, too-vivid dreams from too much melatonin, but I've never taken a melatonin with B-6 in it, so I thought it was simply the melatonin itself. sol Rhonda Connelly wrote: > I spoke with my doctor about taking melatonin for sleep. I use a sublingual tablet. I also take my antihistamine just before bedtime. My PA wanted me to move that back to 4 hours before bedtime, and try to not take it at all, but that didn't work. I get too itchy without it, and the sedating effect helps also. sol
Guest guest
I spoke with my doctor about taking melatonin for sleep. She mentioned to me not to get the melatonin with B6 as it causes some people to have vivid dreams. I don't know if anyone has experienced that but thought I would pass it on. Guest guest
I just don't know what to do anymore. I have lost a lot of trust in doctors, even though the one I know have is very knowledgeable. Thanks for the help. I will definitely look into that. Re: Melatonin I know you didn't ask me, but I'd thought I would give my two cents about melatonin. I was taking taking 3mg a night, it really worked well at first. But it stopped working and I couldn't sleep well again. I have read from several posters (not sure where anymore) that a much smaller dose is called for. I now take .5mg a night, it has worked well for months and I sleep well. iherb.com has these smaller doses, they have 300mcg and 500mcg (micrograms) that would be better, most melatonin products are far too strong. I too have many dreams using melatonin...just silly nonsense dreams, nothing disturbing though. But then I have never suffered from nightmares ever. I first few nights I used melatonin it seemed like I was having hundreds of dreams...it was wild! I don't seem to have hundreds nightly, but I dream every night. This is from someone that could never remember my dreams, I used to think I didn't dream. Neil > > I spoke with my doctor about taking melatonin for sleep.
