Those of you who have been forced to treat your kids yourself, which

might be what we are going to be forced to do...

How do you deal with school, or going to camp when they want a note

from a doctor about why your child has to take HC or Armour at

noon..or whatever? And when you go to see a doctor do you note on the

sheet that they are taking this stuff? Doesn't the doctor ask who put

them on it or what doctor is treating them? Etc...I know if you on HC

your supposed to wear an med alert bracelet.

Trying to figure out the logistics of this before I attempt it. Since

my daughter does occasionally go to the ped for a check up or whatnot,

and Hc would have to be dosed more than just breakfast and after

school, right. Wouldn't she need a dose around lunchtime? Same with

her camp (it's only 4 days, but you can't just go off this stuff)..I'd

need a physician note for them to give that to her. They do give her

the supplements I send, so the past two years she took adrenal cortex

while at camp..as long as the supplement is in the original bottle.

However, if it's a script item..it needs the " proper paperwork "

Has anyone just switched doctors and put down they were on this stuff

and then had that doctor script it for you?

I hate to have to go to these lengths, but I seem to be living in

Pharmaceutical City over here...people look at you

like..Armour..that's an antique. And adrenal fatigue? Never heard of

it...I am sure this is easier for adults, we can take pills where we

go and take them when we want and no one cares.

Argg...frustration...thanks in advance..for any idea, what worked for

you guys..etc.
