Hi everyone,

It's been forever since I actually posted but I'm getting very excited about

the upcoming conference so I wanted to pop in with a question and say 'hi'

to all my friends in the CHARGE world. I will be bringing my non-CHARGE

child, , age 9, with me this year. We are having a girl's trip & I'm

hoping

to get her into one of the sib-shops. I just finalized our hotel and air

tickets today. We are flying into LAX and will probably take the Super Shuttle

to the hotel. I don't think I'm up to So. Cal. driving by myself. For

those of you visiting the theme parks while you are there, are any of you

planning on using shuttles or cabs to go to/from the parks? I'm looking for

ideas

on how others are doing this so and I can visit Disneyland while we are

there. Thanks in advance and looking forward to seeing all of you!

Hi Jacque--

My daughter was 9 for Miami and she enjoyed the sib-shop so much that I

signed her up again. We're also doing Disney for a few days after the

conference, but we're moving to a hotel in walking distance. I can't

wait!

We're going after the conference but I'm staying with friends in Orange

County so they'll get me where I need to go...

Should be oodles of fun.

Jeanie, Kennedy found the High School Musical thing on the California

Adventures web site - I may have to buy the park-hopper pass now...darn!

She is so obsessed with High School Musical.

haha, but California Adventure is SOOO much fun, Lis! One ride in particular,

Soarin' Over California, (or a similar name), is just amazing and is not to be

missed. Unless vestibular issues preclude it, that is. Kendra loves it.

, we did " Soarin' " at Epcot - I wonder if it's similar. I didn't

consider the Park Hopper because we are only doing one Disney day and the

other 2 we are going to Sea World and the Zoo with my friend & her son who

live in OC.

Aha, it is probably similar, then. I can see your dilemma with only one Disney

day. :-) Hmm, so much fun and so little time. At least you had the Epcot

experience of 'Soarin'. So, for the High School musical thing are you going t

go ahead with the park-hopper?

This is going to be our 1st conference but we are also going to

Disney. We are staying at a disney hotel so they will shuttle us to

the park. I did it that way so the kids will enjoy a true disney

trip since I have no clue when it will happen again...LOL! Then on

Friday we will head over the the hilton for the conference and we

will be staying there. From what I looked up its not that far.

Hope we get to meet up and I know we are all going to have a blast.

Crystal-

I don't know if this is true in CA, but at the Disneyworld, if you are the

first in line at Tinker Bell's shop in the morning, you get to wake her up!

Wouldn't that be cool!

Pam-

We didn't get to do it, but apparently, the first kid gets to tap on her

chest or whatever she sleeps in and she comes out - a little tinkling light

I think!
