Guest guest
Well I'm now on 1 pill florinef and 1 1/2 teaspoon of salt per day.The good news in my blood pressure is starting to rise most of the time -last few readings 100/61 104/59 standing 100/65 104/62 standing 98/56 97/59 standing.I know I've experienced improvement since increasing the salt. However increasing the salt has also led to an increase in my underarm sweating which I've had for years to some degree. Now it's to the point it has become unbearable and extremely embarrassing and uncomfortable-constantly wet through and having to reapply deoderant many times a day to no avail-help!.There's definately a link between increasing the salt and the increase in this and I still think my body is struggling to retain the salt even though I feel I clearly need it to get well.I have no symptoms of high thyroid or high cortisol -my temps are still low and I'm sweating even though I'm cold and the more salt I take the more I sweat!Often I start sweating quite soon after taking the salt and the sweating is worse in a morning and afternoon.I'm still failing the flashlight test also.I don't want to increase the salt further until I can figure out what to do about this sweating as I can't live with this.In other ways I feel my adrenals are getting better supported.Would it be possible to try increasing the florinef slightly to see if this will help me retain the salt I'm taking? Thanks,
Guest guest
Yes there are people that need more Florinef. but you also could try lowering HC. HIGH cortisll willmake you sweat too easily too. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/
Guest guest
Thanks Val, I would like to try increasing the florinef first as I do feel that for the first time really my adrenals are doing quite well and I honestly believe the sweating is linked to the salt rentention, particularly as I has it prior to starting hc.I will bear the hc in mind though. If I increase the florinef how would I do this-would I still take any increase in the morning and how easy would it be to drop back down again? If I had high cortisol wouldn't this mean my blood pressure would be high? Guest guest
High BP would only happen if aldosterone was perfect and HC was high. or if HC was perfect and aldosterone was high. I think you can increase and decrease Florinf easily as long as oyu just go in 1/4 tab increements. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/
Guest guest
Thank you.Presumably the correct florinef dosage would mean I could pass the flashlight test to? Or does this depend on the amount of salt I'm taking? > > High BP would only happen if aldosterone was perfect and HC was high. or > if HC was perfect and aldosterone was high. Guest guest
I am noit sure but I think the Florinef holding th proper amount of sodium in your body would be the determiner for passing the flashlight test. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/
