Guest guest
Val, Last week, I posted about having a return of hypo symptoms despite excercise and no change in diet. You recommended that I either raise cortisol and/or test RT3. I just got the results back from my RT3 test. RT3=322 (normal range 90-350) These are my recent blood draw results from March 3 as you indicated I needed a recent Free T3 test as well. Free T3 = 5.2 (2.3-4.2) Free T4 = 1.42 (0.61-1.76) TH = 0.004 (0.35-5.5) AM fasting Cortisol = 15 (4.3-22.4) It looks like the RT3 is in the high range. Should I send a copy to my doc and treat with Cytomel? Or is it within the range and just let it go for now. I will be going back for testing again in June to the Doc. I could request an RT3 test then to monitor how it is doing. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Marva
