Guest guest
I have randomly been reading different books in the bible every morning for months. It's my quiet time. When I was reading that story, I felt as if God was saying, " Listen up, here's the good part of the story. This pertains to Meagan. " . I mulled over what we had been through already, and I already see His acts. I just credited the doctors for their work, not God. I was told she wouldn't have lived if the hole between the chambers of her heart wouldn t have stayed open (her aorta was closed completely, and the hole stayed open because she was a C-section.....hmmmm, docs had NOTHING to do with that one!) I was told that she would be COMPLETELY blind in one eye, with very limited vision in the other. We just did her annual eye eval, although she has some central vision loss in one eye the peripheral is amazing! As for the other eye, it almost disqualified her for her vision services it was so good! (hmmmmm, no docs there either!) Last fall, after her second brain decompression surgery; we almost lost her. She became violently ill. The ER told me it was a bug. The anti nausea meds didn't touch it. She developed a bubble " at her incision site. I took her back in because she started to arch her back and head constantly. I screamed brain surgery. They screamed viral bug. This went on for almost a week! Finally, " something " made me pack her up, take her in, and let them know I wasn't leaving until someone did an MRI After waiting for one for 9 hours, it was true. Her bovine patch had blown and her hydrocephalus was no longer manageable. Her brain was being pressed against her skull (hence the vomiting). Her Neuro surgeon had been out of town. He arrived that morning, read the MRI, looked at her state at that time, and said he didn't know how she had made it this long. He said he was wheeling her into emergency surgery as soon as we signed the papers. He gathered in 12 hours she'd be in a coma, in 24 hours she be gone. That something " was God. I'm glad you found peace in it too. , mommy to Meagan (CHaRgE) and 2 1/2year old twins, and big brother 5 next month, married to the best daddy in the world for 10 years! The mention of my child's name might make me cry. Not mentioning my child's name will break my heart. Unknown -- Re: help me - Thank you so much for posting this bible verse. I LOVE IT! What a great way to explain it. I started out questioning why in my head 24/7, couldn't even sleep! But I learned over time how truly special really is. I can't go anywhere without sharing his story with people and telling them about him and his accomplishments etc. I believe that he touches everyone who hears about him weather they meet him or not. The bible verse is a great sumary! THANK YOU!! PROUD mom to , Dylan, (CHARGER)and Drew I > wanted to share it with you. > > " As he went along he saw a man blind from birth. Guest guest
I had this thought process BEFORE Meg was born; then got caught up in the emotion of it all. I seemed to have " lost my way " for a year and a half. But now I am reminded of His presence in my life daily. It seems silly to have pushed Him away for so long. It is so much easier with Him in my life; guiding me. Thanks for sharing. , mommy to Meagan (CHaRgE) and 2 1/2 year old twins, and big brother 5 next month, married to the best daddy in the world for 10 years! The mention of my child's name might make me cry. Not mentioning my child's name will break my heart. Unknown
