Thank you for sharing the wonderful article and photos, Tim. It is thrilling to

think of getting ready to graduate from high school. Please give him a

big Congratulatory 'High Five' from the Keedys.

It is interesting that Michigan has school programs that students can

participate in until age 26. Here in California, at 22 you're out of the

system. The transition time allowed in the Michigan framework sounds very

positive. It allows time as one becomes an adult to receive meaningful

transition services.

I enjoyed reading about jacob's activities at home and school. The photographs

are superb.

As always, thank you to you and for the excellent support you bring to all

of us.

I tried to get your daughter interested in helping me with a project on

siblings. Do you think she might have any interest? I'd enjoy talking with

her about it.

Even with all of the differences among children with CHARGE there are some

striking similarities like the lights and water and blankets. It's so

fascinating.

Tim,

I know Kris would do anything to help you on the sibling topic. She told me

about your contact about that and how important she thought it was. Kris

said she would be helping in any way you needed. She also is incredibly

thankful it is you doing this project. Kris is now doing so much better but

I just have to add the bragging mother bit that Kris actually just passed

Hi Bonnie,

Yes. Kris is a co-author on this project. We will be sending a message

to the list very soon looking for volunteers. It has been great

working with her, and it is so great that she passed her comps.

The adolescence study is stalled right now, but should move forward in a

few weeks. You will be hearing from me on it.

Tim,

What a great article on --and the photos were beautiful! I'm amazed

that, even though our daughter is only 5, I already see so many similarities in

what was written about , especially in the area of communication.

seems drawn to PECS more than anything right now--it's helped her make great

strides at school this year. And she's definitely into the " push, pull " method

of expressive communication! I honestly believe that communication,

particularly expressive communication, will always be a challenge for , so

it reassures me to see doing so well in high school and in being a part of

your community.

Thanks for sharing.

Hi ,

It is good that you are using PECS this early. I wish had. It

really is all about establishing communication.\

Tim,

What a great article on --and the photos were beautiful! I'm amazed

that, even though our daughter is only 5, I already see so many

similarities in what was written about , especially in the area of

communication. seems drawn to PECS more than anything right

now--it's helped her make great strides at school this year. And she's

definitely into the " push, pull " method of expressive communication! I

honestly believe that communication, particularly expressive

communication, will always be a challenge for , so it reassures me

to see doing so well in high school and in being a part of your

community.

Thanks for sharing.
