Guest guest
If you're worried about calcium problems there's a couple fantastic articles about that here: http://www.vitalitywellness.com/education/pdfs/Vit%20K.pdf http://www.westonaprice.org/basicnutrition/vitamin-k2.html The first article is more concise, though she's talking about how calcium relates to autism it's a great primer on Vitamin K and calcium. The second article is very long but I think worth it. > > Hello, > > After finding StopTheThyroidMadness.com I'm getting in touch with some > great groups for support. > > I've been suffering for 5 years with CFS and keep going in circles. I know low magnesium can cause all sorts of fatigue problems... and heart rate issues, shakiness, weak muscles... etc Maybe you just were really deficient in Mag. I am. My doc said I need to take a ton to feel relief. It's easy to check for Calcium, was your Calicium blood level ever low? Hey...if it works, keep taking it. Im waiting for my miracle pill. Are you on Armour? Im getting ready to start it , oppsed to synthroid for 5 years now. Very neervous/

My doc said I need to take a ton to feel relief. I actually found the Calcium thing after I took too much calcium (for the day I assume). I woke at 2-3 am and was having a hard timr returning to sleep so I took about 50mg Magnesium-Glycinate. It didn't help much after about 5 min so I took 100mg. After that I felt worse and wired. There was no way I was going to get to sleep. I remembered reading that Calcium could help balance Magnesium so I took half a Cal/Mag tablet and felt very calm within 5 minutes. I slept for the next three hours and woke feeling pretty good despite missing 2 hours of sleep. I took small doses the next few days trying to recreate the success. I found that it really helped me if I took it right before bed with some additional Magnesium. That weekend I took the entire Cal/Mag with additional 200mg Magnesium before bed Fri and Sat and had the best weekend in years. I took a lesser dose on Sunday and it didn't help and my adrenals were toast. Here's whats in the Cal/Mag: Calcium: 333 mg (Calcium Carbonate) Magnesium: 133 mg (Mag Oxide) Zinc: 5 mg (Zinc Sulfate) And a bunch of filler junk (Cellulose, Maltodextrin, Croscarmellose Sodium, Talc, Corn Starch, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, Mineral Oil, Crospovidone, Stearic Acid, Citric Acid, Soy Polysaccaride, Hypromellose, Titanium Dioxide, Sodium Stach Glycoate, Dextrose, Magnesium Stearate, Silicon Dioxide, Polyethelyene Glycol, Sodium Carboxymethylcellulose, Calcium Stearate, Sodium Citrate, Polysorbate 80, Carnuba Wax, Dextrin - OMG!!!). I'm sure Sodium Lauryl Sulfate should only be in shampoo and the like. I've ordered Calcium Carbonate and Magnesium Oxide power to see if my magic ingredient is one of those two (fingers crossed). If not hopefully the zinc sulfate. If it ends up being one of the fillers ???? > symptoms My symptoms are like wired and fatigued. Symptoms of anxiety, general crummyness along with plenty of mental symptoms, brain fog, can't handle stress. Most of the typical adrenal symptoms like cold intolerance, etc. > It's easy to check for Calcium, was your Calicium blood level ever low? I did have blood calcium (kidney profile) about 2 years ago and it was fine. > Are you on Armour? > Im getting ready to start it , oppsed to synthroid for 5 years now. > Very neervous/ I'm not on any Thyroid meds. My " normal doc " thyroid stuff came back normal and never got persued after that (until now). Good luck with the Armour. From what I keep hearing its good stuff.
