Guest guest
Hi I just got my Salivary test results back, they are very erratic. They reccommend repeat testing for monitoring however I have no more money this was my birthday present money, I had this instead of a pressy. So here goes, hope you can help direct me towards the correct way to go from here :)luv Dawn CORTISOL 8am 12.2 (12.0 to 33.0) noon * 8.00 (10.0 to 28.0) 4pm 10.5 (6.0 to 11.8) midnight *13.0 (1.0 to 5.0) DHEA 8am 4.3* (7.0-18.3) noon 6.5 (4.8 to 8.2) 4pm 5.6 (3.5 to 6.0) midnight 2.9 (2.0 to 4.0) Comments: Salivary Cortisol profile: All values are either borderline or below reference range indicating poor/compromised hormone output on the cortisol pathway. In addition midnight result is above reference range Salivary DHEA-s profile: Slightly erratic hormone output; Overall profile indicates normal hormone output Overall comment Suggest repeat profile following medical consultation to monitor progress and ensure above results are not reflecting deterioration of samples in transit (as a guide adrenal hormones are stable for 3 to 4 days in the post )

But I feel yiu might do OK on Isocort rather thean startign with HC. You may still need HC but I woul at least give Isocort a try first. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/
Guest guest
Cool Val thanks Glad it is not too unusual I thought for a min that my whole system had gone mad lol. I will indeed supplement my adrenal glands as you suggest and perhaps a small dose of dhea do you think? In the early morning? Or do you think the dhea will normalise on the isocort? luv Dawn
Guest guest
Yes DHEA like cortisol should be highest in the AM so that is best time to take it. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/
