Guest guest
Well here is what I gathered with my research. Healing naturally will depend on many things, like how damaged they are, why the are not working, how long they have been not working, whether or not your thyroid is also bad and if you are treating that or not, if your toxic, etc. etc etc. You can use adrenal cortex glandular to help support adrenals. You can also use licorice or ashwaghanda..and some other things..B vites... In our house we found that the adrenal cortex help with symptoms and improve function somewhat. (depends on the level of fatigue) Usually, if the dysfunction is minimal and you address other aspects of your health that led you to the fatigue, you would take cortex for 9mos to one year. Upon which you wean off of it and see how it goes. If you get symptoms of adrenal problems while trying to wean off, then your not ready to be off of it. Sometimes the adrenal fatigue is in the later stages..like stage 7, upon which cortex will help but may not be enough to completely correct it or heal it. Depends on what your test results revealed. I do think it's always worth a try to use the natural stuff first. If you don't find good results then look into the hydrocortisone. > > > Using nutrition, glandulars, herbs...etc? > > What has been effective for you? Guest guest
Jada, When using cortex, what are your dosage suggestions? Mine is 300 mg cortex and the bottle says one per day. Guest guest
My bottle also says one per day. It's Allergy Research brand. However, one a day may not do it. This will depend on the level of fatigue. You start out at one though. See how it goes, when you notice that it is not helping, then add another cap. Usually what happens is you feel great, and then after a week or so, you notice that by 12n it's not helping..so you would add one cap at this time. What we found was that one cap in the am, another at 3pm. My dd needs two caps in the am and one at 3pm. If we are stressed or sick, we increase this. Basing upon symptoms. At times she has needed 3 caps in the am and 2 at 3pm. I do fine with one cap in the am. So..depends on you. Go by your symptoms and how you feel on it. You will know when to add more. > > > > > > Using nutrition, glandulars, herbs...etc? > > > > What has been effective for you?
