Guest guest
Hi Val!! Hope you are doing well! I have 2 questions? I'm hypoT, AI, Vit B12 Def. My ferritin was 29 last month, been on 200mg Ferrochel since then, and am feeling better. I just increased my Armour from 60 to 90mg a week ago, with no jittery or pounding heart symptoms, as when I have try to increase in the past. I'm going to have labs done on April 1...should I stay on the 90mg till I have the labs or try to increase. I still feel very hypo... My other question is...been on 1000iu Vitamin D3 for 6 weeks and my 25 (OH) Vitamin D was 44 (20-65). I was off for 1 week b/f the test. How much D3 would you take at this point? Thanks soooo much! Guest guest
, Dr Sherry A. has some very informative books, one of which is " The High Blood Pressure Hoax " . In it she talks about 25-hydroxyvitamin D3 levels. She says most labs cite an acceptable level of Vit D at 37.5 - 50 nmol/L (15-20 ng/ml). But says this cut-off is INSUFFICIENT to allow you to absorb calcium and correct osetoporosis. She recommends your range be AT LEAST 86-122 nmol/L which is proven to provide 66% greater calcium absorption. If anyone is interested in checking out her books, you can order them at http://www.prestigepublishing.com I get 2500 iu from supplements alone (for over 1 year) and I'm still not as high as I want to be. I have my 89 year old Mom on 3000 iu daily plus 500mg magnesium citrate (and lots of other stuff). She lives in assisted living, walks lots every day and if you ask her how she feels, she says " I feel better every day " . My sister and I sometimes say we are going over and take whatever Mom is taking. LOL Delores Vitamin D question > Hi Val!! Hope you are doing well! I have 2 questions? > > I'm hypoT, AI, Vit B12 Def. Guest guest
Delores, What does she have to say about high blood pressure in the book? Does she say how to treat it? I may have to buy the book.
