Guest guest
Hi, I was in the hospital last week for four days. Went to ER and finally a doc had somewhat of a clue and regonized when I was sitting and standing my BP was very different. I went in because I was SO fatigued, way more than my usual which is pretty heavey. Anyways, I was admitted and get pick up medical records tomm. in teh afternoon. From whatI know so far is that I had a CT or MRi scan of teh brain with out die and then die took about hour and it came back ok. I also was given blood test and hour later given cortisol (I thinnk that is what it was in the IV) hour later another blood test to ehck diff. Prior to those two tests at early morning given a serum cortisol check. Jan. I had salvia test not on meds and just started. So the doc put me on 10mg. of Cortef 2x a day and 60 mg of Armour. My thyroid was low across the board meaning all the tests you al say to have checked I know were done. My sallvia test showed my TSH high and low for the frees. I am well aware the sympoms in alot of cases are more of a gauge than the tests. Frees are better to look at . My antibodies are good. Well, Val told me to better way for me to break up Cortef. I felt like you know what yesertday. Also Val adviced to take half the Armour. I was charting this as I think the Armour has is causing me to feel when getting up from sitting/laying down as I did when I went in to the ER. Not just for a couple minutes more like 20 plus. I do not get up fast either. Does anyone have any suggestions. I also had a heart monitor on the four days in hosp. for them to make sure my heart was not part the issue as I had an abaltion for the heart years ago and all turned at well but they had to check. I also have trouble being backed up and yesterday after the Armour I was going. Sorry if this is long but I wanted ot give the whole background so anyone can give me some feedback off these recent events. Val has been AWESOME I privately emailed her but I know weekends are her busiest at work and I will try and call her if the call button is on . In the mean time the Aldosterone has not been checked so I know that is a biggy . Thanks for the support and advice.
