Guest guest
Hi : I am copying it here again as I saw you were answering today's posts and I assumed you had missed mine from Monday. Hi , Could you give me your opinion on this test please ?. I am on 2 ½ grains Armour and not feeling any improvement but feeling better than when I was on 3 ½ with Free T3 over range . Cortisol Levels 8.00 AM 15.6 ( 12 - 22) 12 Noon 10.1 (5.0 – 9.0 ) high 4.00 pm 1.8 (3.0 – 7.0 ) Low Midnight 1.4 (1.0 - 3.0) DHEA Levels Sample 2 am 0.43 ( 0.30 – 1.00 ) Sample 3 pm 0.22 ( 0.30 – 1.00 ) Low DHEA Mean 0.33 ( 0.30 – 1.00 ) DHEA: Cortisol ratio 1.12 ( 1.0 – 4.0 ) These are there comments not mine: Deviations from the normal cortisol rhythm The noon cortisol level is above the normal range. This may be indicative of low blood sugar levels before lunch, instructing the adrenals to make cortisol so that stored energy reserves are mobilised to correct the state of low blood sugar. May also be a indicator of adrenal stress. A low afternoon cortisol is suggestive of suboptimal adrenal function. Thank you, your help is very much appreciated.
