I htink either Ibuprophen or aspirin would be fine. Actually I cheated

on my test dys an had coffee AFTER the saliva draw so it would be long

gone by the next one.

i may have to break down and do the same thing because my head hurts

so bad right now that i am nauseous and can hardly sit up!

Don't forget you can take a caffeine pill to get your fix without

coffee. I would think a swallowed pill would not interfere? Val?

It is not the coffee in your mouth that sonfuses the test it is the fact that

caffeine stimulates cortisl production. So the pills would probably be even

worse as most have alot more caffeine than a cup of coffee.

Thanks for the correction and explanation. I thought it was coffee in

the mouth that was the problem.

So then decaf would be ok? I know it does contain a very small amount of

caffeine, but is that still enough to interfere with the tests?
