Guest guest
Hi Val - I know it's kind of weird, but I've been doing it this way b/c I don't like to eat much when I first get up in the am, but I feel that I need HC. I eat breakfast at 7:15/7:30, and don't eat lunch until 12. But by 11 my body needs more HC. I'm open to suggestions if you have some. I feel pretty good from mid morning to mid afternoon, but by early evening I feel like I am crashing. lexie > > 6:30 am - 2.5 mg > 7:30 am - 7.5 mg > 11:00 am - 2.5 mg > 12:00 pm - 7.5 mg > 3:30 pm - 5 mg > 7:00 pm - 2.5 mg (27.5 mg total) > > Is there any reason you take so many doses instaed of combining these into 4 doses? > > -- > Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV > > http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ > http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ > http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ >

To keep the same dose I would lower your noon dose to 5mg and raise the 7PM to 5mg -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/
Guest guest
I know this may sound so ignorant, but I have to ask...Are you talking about standard OTC Hydrocortisone cream to help with Adrenal Support? I am hopefully asking, of course. I am having a hard time finding a doctor that knows what Adrenal Gland Fatigue is...Dr.'s and lab tech's that take my blood think it is because I have 5 children and home school, and I am stressed, I feel mocked. My Endo. tried to prescribe me with Synthroid based solely on my TSH levels of 1 blood test result of 5.076. Then my CMP, CBC, Urinalysis, and Thyroid Function test all came back normal. Ggrrrhhh, I was/am not happy about this. I have read it is so important to test the adrenals prior to prescribing Synthroid, or any other med.s for that matter. Sorry to get off subject. What type of HC 1% cream are you talking about? Thanks, **************Create a Home Theater Like the Pros. Watch the video on AOL Home. Guest guest
HI again Val. Sorry it took me a while to respond to this. I've been busy last few days so haven't been at the computer. I made the change as you suggested and am now at the following: am - 10 mg,noon - 7.5 mg, mid aftnoon - 7.5 mg, 7 pm - 5 mg (30 total) I am a really small person so am thinking that 30mg is a lot for me, but temps are still not stable. But I started my period 4 days ago, and that seems to really affect my temps alot. For example, day before my period I had one temp that was actually 98.6 (unheard of!) and then the day my period started I had a temp in the 95's. I feel like my body is crying out for more thyroid but I am trying to " stay the course " and not raise thyroid until it's time. Since I don't have a thyroid at all, I'm wondering if there is something different from the norm going on with me. Also, I'm still waiting for aldesterone/renin/potassium, etc. test results - supposed to get those tomorrow. Any words of wisdom would be most appreciated. thanks. lexie -- In NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS , wrote: > > 6:30 am - 2.5 mg > > 7:30 am - 7.5 mg > > 11:00 am - 2.5 mg > > 12:00 pm - 7.5 mg > > 3:30 pm - 5 mg > > 7:00 pm - 2.5 mg (27.5 mg total) > > OK as oyu are crashing in the evening it means either your AM dosing is to ohigh or you need more in the evning. Guest guest
With not having a thyroid you need to try a small dose of Amrour even with temps still not stable. You may not be able to stabilize temps withtout SOME Armoru. I would start 15mg and see how that goes. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/
Guest guest
TYracy with ONE lab test of a TSH that high you NEED thyroid. But you also could need adrenal support but before startign HC you MUST test the levels with a saliva cortisolprofile, otherwise you could seriously HARM your adrneals.www.canaryclub.org PLEASE do not start HC cream or otherwise withotu testing levels forst. High and low cortisol can feel the same. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/

Guest guest
Hi Val. I am currently taking 100 mg of synthroid and 1 grain of Armour per day. I've been on that dosage for approx 1 year. Had the thyroidectomy 4 years ago and been on every combo imaginable. When I started HC in Feb I didn't change my thyroid dosage. My goal is to get off snythroid completely and only be on Armour. Do you think I should start that now - wean off Synthroid and UP the Armour? I'm guessing I'm going to need ALOT more than what I " m on now before this is all over with! Thank you for your help! lexie > > With not having a thyroid you need to try a small dose of Amrour even > with temps still not stable. You may not be able to stabilize temps > withtout SOME Armoru. Guest guest
okay, sounds like a good plan. Any rough idea of a range that I am striving for? 3 grains? 5 grains? I'll know when I feel better? lexie > > I think you could swap out 50mcg of T4 for 30mg Armoru eveyr couple > weeks to slowly change to Armoru. > > -- > Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV > > http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ > http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ > http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ >
