Guest guest
My daughter is 32, 4'10 " about 118lbs and in excellent health, except for recurring yeast infections. After many painful experiences, medications, doctors, etc, she is treating with Buchu tea several times a day and cranberry capsules. She is also having a strange sort of spasm that she thinks is in the urethers, not the vagina...and her doc has suggested that she might be diabetic. When I was my daughter's age, I had chronic vaginal infections, and after working with a local DOC/naturopath, I learned that I had to make my body acidic, which I did with diet.....and haven't had another one in over 20 years. My mother, father and sister are all hypo and I am as well. My dad was diabetic. My sis and I are hypoglycemic, but I've controlled mine with diet over the years. She has no health issues. Eats mostly whole foods, good omega rich seafood, lots of fruits, veggies, cheese, yogurt. Strictly limits sugar as it makes all of her symptoms worse. Same for me... any refined food product with wheat, sugar, etc makes my mouth break out inside, upsets my stomach, and I feel groggy and sluggish. She gets ulcers in her mouth if she has chocolate, cookies, cake, etc... She's changing to my doc who diagnosed severe adrenal fatigue and hypothyroidism, and was open to everything I've read here and is monitoring my HC dosing schedule. But in the meantime... I'm wondering what tests might be helpful, and if there are hormonal, blood sugar and perhaps hypo issues in the early stages. My mid 30's were when I started having miscarriages, period of extreme fatigue, and other symptoms......and I wish I'd known then what we know now. Any one here have information or suggestions that might be helpful? Thanks,
