When you get the cortisl (HC dosing) high enough in the daytime it will

lower that high night time cortiso by lowering your ACTH. This is why

most of us need a bedtime dose of HC. Yoiu can certainly try it without

the night time dosing but if oyu have problems sleeping, usually this

will help. But it is not usually needed under 20mg HC doses.
