Guest guest
Jeff we had very good luck with " Critter Clips " when Kennedy was a baby. They make a hearing aid clip with two strings attached for both hearing aids, as well as individual ones. We found that putting an individual one on each aid worked much better than the single clip with two attached strings. We found the single clip with two strings came off more. The two singles worked a lot better and stayed on much better. You can see them here: http://www.westone.com/cgi-local/SoftCart.100.exe/online-store/scstore/p-120SC.h\ tml?E+scstore or ask your audiologist. Guest guest
Jeff, We also used the " critter clips " although in our case the cute little critter part fell off shortly after purchasing - but the clip worked well for us. We used one string with two loops, one clip. But I must share a recent story of hearing aids at our house. Last week Cameron handed me his hearing aids because he and his brother were listening to music and it was too loud with his aids. So I put them in my pocket only to later lose one. Talk about panic. It's his first pair which were covered by some federal grant money but to replace one would be well over $1000. I scoured the house and worried for a full day before finally finding it in the kitchen garbage - still can't figure out how I managed that, but grateful I dug through it before putting it out on the curb. So, my darling husband suggests that perhaps we start using the clip with Cameron again. I had to gently remind him that Cameron didn't misplace the hearing aid, I did. Perhaps I need the clip! LOL Best of luck! Mom to Cameron, 5 (CHaRGE) and , almost
Guest guest
Thanks for all the advice. We had seen the critter clips but wanted to get advice on options first. So far my most forgetful moment was when I did not put a battery in my daughter's aide one morning and did not realize it until we took them off that night. At 9 months, she couldn't tell us it was not working, although she seemed to nap better that day. ;-) Jeff > > Jeff, > > We also used the " critter clips " although in our case the cute little > critter part fell off shortly after purchasing - but the clip worked > well for us.
