Guest guest Posted March 8, 2008 Report Share Posted March 8, 2008 Val, Earlier today I had a very stressful situation come up. My BP went up plus the heart rate went way high. IT wasy 169 over 126 with a heart rate of 137. It showed irregular heart beat on my monitor. That has not gone away. I just took it sitting at my computer here and it was 139/111 with pulse of 94. I am really concerned about the diastolic numbers, they are so high and my heart is still showing irregular heartbeat. COULD THIS BE HYPOTHYROID Or what??? My doc took me off of my BP meds because it took my heart rate way too low, my systolic numbers basicallyl have come down, but the diastolic went up... I have a bad infection in my teeth and they are going to be pulled next Tuesday....could this hav a bearing on this BP?? Also with all this infection and stuff and even tho I am on 32.5 mg HC could I not be getting enough of the thyroid hormones to the tissues??? I am on 60mg Armour twice a day and 12.5 T3 twice a day.... I just don't feel very good and I know the infection is alot of it, but this irregular heartbeat for so long has me scared..I stress dosed 10mg awhile ago. I just took my BP again, it was 163/88 pulse 104 after sitting here at the computer, but it did not show irregular heartbeat this time...what do you think Val, I really need your assurance here..
