2.5mg SR HC better for night time?

Val,

You often recommend 2.5mg HC at bed time. Would we all be better off

if we used Slow Release 2.5mg HC at bed time to see us through the

night? Those of us who can use HC without disrupting sleep of course...

(depending on the person) so wouldn't it be better to take something

that stretches out a bit until the morning dose?

But I really feel HC lasts longer thna 4 hours WHNE YOU ARE SLEEPING. You also

want your adrneals to be stimulated for the Dawn Rise. Taking longer acting or

more at bedtime DOES lower your AM ACTH. SO UNless you are waking at 3-4 am

withhypoglycemia I do nto feel a longer acting bedtime dose is a good thing.
