Guest guest
I'm still trying to figure out why lately I've been having menstrual irregularities, bloating and muscle aches/pains when even in my worst hypo days I didn't have these problems. I've been taking more Vitamin C (Carlson's C-Gel) as well as Ultimate Iron (Enzymatic Therapy) and these both contain lecithin in the ingredients. It seems like it's been worsening since I increased the C. And would taking soy products affect your lab tests (increase TSH etc.) or not? sorry, i'm just obsessing again! Thanks! Guest guest
Joann It's not the vitamin c that is bad for you. Anyhting made from soy is terrible for your thyroid! Even soy milk, soy lecithin, soy oil, tofu--- it is bad for thyroid. > > I'm still trying to figure out why lately I've been having menstrual > irregularities, bloating and muscle aches/pains when even in my worst > hypo days I didn't have these problems. I think I'll switch to supplements without lecithin and see how it goes. I swear I'm getting so paranoid about everything that goes into my body. I'm just trying to understand why I was feeling great and now lately not so great.
