Guest guest
I am not sure if my post went through before but here goes again...OUr son who is now 16 years old has a malformed cochlea and the semi circular canals are small. He did learn to walk when he was 4. HIs balance is actually quite good, considering. Dont give up hope! It will happen. They have to learn to compensate with the balance, but they can do so. Hang in there! ck > >Reply-To: CHARGE >To: CHARGE >Subject: Re: absent semi-circular canals >Date: Wed, 09 May 2007 22:10:29 -0000 > >Saw this article in April issue of Wired magazine where they discuss >sensory prosthetics including one that helped people with inner ear >damage restore their balance.
