Guest guest
Well our son is doing well. We just had his cleft lip repaired, ABR test, CT scan. His results are moderate to extreme hearing loss, Cochlea issues with testing every 6 months to watch and see. In the meantime we are to try a BAHA Intenseo hearing aid. Of course our Health Insurance (which I won't complain has been great to date) won't pay. I find it strange that we buy new BAHA, when this is only a temporary solution. Why are they not rented? What happens to the used ones? We are exploring various options for help with the cost but I wanted to see if anyone in the group had one they wanted to sell. Also does anybody have an idea how much they cost. In Christian's case it may not be strong enough and we would have to upgrade to the belt clip version and I'm sure he won't like that now that he has finally mastered rolling over and around. Still can't hold his head up for any extended time or crawl, but we are working on it.
