Guest guest
while waiting for cortisol results i read 'the cortisol connection' thinking all my symptoms were due to high cortisol and was shocked to find out i was in stage 7 af. in retrospect i'm thinking alot of these people the book is addressing are going through earlier stages of adrenal fatigue and am wondering if the recommendations to lower it so much is actually counterproductive in the healing process, especially obviously if they are hypo too since they're on their way to further stages, and hc would be more beneficial...or does lowering it during those actually help? i'm just glad i got the tests back before starting any of his regimens...i can't imagine what my poor adrenals would have done and wonder if others made their situation worse? Guest guest
You aren't alone in that. I succumbed to pressure and did the testing, which I really didn't want to do. And darn glad I did. As I had no idea I was as bad as stage 7, burden 10. My son was convinced I was high cortisol, because of the abdominal weight, but bony hands/feet, round face. Shudder to think if I had gone the route of trying to lower already flatlined cortisol. sol shar_141414 wrote: > while waiting for cortisol results i read 'the cortisol connection' > thinking all my symptoms were due to high cortisol and was shocked to > find out i was in stage 7 af. > >
