I do axillary for basal temps when I take them and orally during the day to

average for adrenals. I think a big thing is to be consistent in how you do

it for adrenals so you can tell if there is fluctuation.

Do you take axillary for first thing in the morning as basal temp for thyroid?

I have been taking axillary for my day temps too. I was under the impression if

we take it axillary it is okay as long as we do it that way always. If axillary

is a degree lower should you be minusing before deciding to raise thyroid.

Example... My doc said if temp was 97 I would need to raise my T3 dose. I am so

confused now. Any help would be appreciated...

Re: Temp method

I have always used oral temps as fo rthree times a day temps the

axillary is really not feasible,
