Guest guest
Hi Val I posted yesterday. I am the one who has been unable to raise armour at all. I have been on the merrygoround for 7 months, armour + cortef and my frees are worse than when I started. You said I need to get iron injections as my iron is at 9 and not going up. For the meantime what should I do with Cortef and Armour? I was trying to wean off the cortef cuz it didnt seem to be helping, and I also lost weight as I have been doing so, but my dr says to go back up to 15mg a day. Guest guest
Oh I think you shoudl stay onm the Cortef. It will hep your body utilize what ever thyroid your body is producing wehihc in turn helps the Ferritin a BIT it will also help digestion so the supplements can work better though I really feel taking Iron is not doing you much good orally, thus the injeciton suggestion. As for thyroid, NO I would not take it at this point. It CANNOT poossibly work for you and wil only cause BAD symptoms until you are able to bring the Ferritin at least ot the 30-40 range. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/
Guest guest
Val: I am going to ask about iron injections. However when I dropped my armour for 1 day back in October I was sick in bed for the whole day. So while you feel the armour isn't doing anything I disagree. How much cortef do you suggest I should be taking?
Guest guest
I would stick wiht your doc's plan to go back to 15mg daily and hold to see if oyur weight stabilizes. Losing weight is a symptoms low low cortiosl. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/
