Guest guest
, thanks again for the advice...I've started Armour thyroid but I just don't know what to do about the HC. I was really struggling with 17.5 mg, with all the anxiety, and jitteriness. I tried to ride it out, but it just wasn't going away on its own. And like many on this board, I know my body so well from years of experimenting with different meds. I know that I just wasn't tolerating that dose of HC, and it wasn't just in my head. I couldn't continue like that even if my body needs more cortisol. Maybe I should keep my overall dose a little low but my morning dose high when I need the cortisol most? > > Your first TWO cortios levels arein the dirt. Guest guest
Please keep in mind that if you aren't taking enough HC then these syptoms won't just go away. When your body uses up what you have taken, then it will start asking for more. If your adrenal glands can't produce the cortisol, they will produce adrenaline instead which is what causes the anxiety and jitteriness. This usually happens a couple hours after you have taken the HC. If you take more HC the symptoms should go away if this is the cause. Now if you are having an allergic reaction to fillers int eh HC the reaction should be more immediate and should be different. What you are describing is classic low cortisol symptoms. Rie A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort.
