Guest guest
Looks liek your adrenals are improving but you could use more of what ever you are taking ot improve them and you could also use soem progesterone. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://www.seewell4less.com/Valspage.htm Medical Alert Bracelets
Guest guest
Should I stick with the Isocort or change? And what is a good form of progesterone? And what do you think of my thyroid? Is it ok? Should I stay with the same dose I'm on? My Nd talked about using 's protocol to jump start it, by alternating doses every 2 days until my temps regulate, then sticking with that dose? And do you think it's worth it for me to check my aldosterone, b12, amino acids, and epstein barr(this was very high before)? Sorry for all the questions, just trying to get it all together. Thanks so much for all your help. You have made such an impact on my life and I'm very grateful for all your advice. Guest guest
Were you on the Isocort when you retested? If so it kind of negates the cortiosl results, if not I would go back to what you were doing wiht isocort with maybe a couple more pellets or even adding in an A.C.E. product such as this one: http://www.nutritionalfocus.com/productpages/picturepages/picture1.htm I can't figure out why your T3 is so low, but your T4 is not much better. You need some serious thyroid support. Progesterone there are many creams available OTC that work just fine, just lok for micronized USP Progesterone . Use the doses recommended and have it rechecked a month or two after starting it to make certain the dose is not too high or low. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/
Guest guest
I stopped the Isocort 4 weeks before I tested. Should I add some pellets at night? I have seen here that most take them 3x a day, and I am taking them 2x a day(morn and afternoon) Do you think I need to increase my thyroid (T3 is what I take), along with progesterone cream, or just do progesterone? I am in the process ofweaning my daughter, should I change my thyroid med's when we are done nursing to another brand? Thanks, Shan > > Were you on the Isocort when you retested? Guest guest
I would add a third dose of Isocort, and if oyu ar on just T3 you need ALOT more. I would start iuncreasing it by 12.5mcg weekly until your temps come up to normal. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/
Guest guest
By adding a third dose at night do I run the risk of lowering my morning cortisol. I read somewhere that it can do that, but I could've read it wrong. And I just spent the last hour trying to understand my thyroid labs for the last year or so and I can't understadn what's going on. Here's what they have been. The far numbers on the right with the **'s next to them are in reference to Dr. Rinds scale. 12/2006 (NO MEDS) WESTCLIFF LABS TSH 1.069 (0.350-5.50) **-2 FT4 0.99 (0.80-1.80) **-3 FT3 2.7 (2.3-4.2) **-3 07/2007 (NO MEDS) WESTCLIFF LABS TSH 2.894 (03.50-5.50) **+3 FT3 2.4 (2.3-4.2) **-5 11/2007 (ADRENAL, MAYBE T3 MEDS BUT JUST STARTED IF SO) QUEST LABS TSH 2.18 (0.40-4.50) **+1 FT3 2.46 (2.30-4.20) **-5 03/2008 (ON ISOCORT, IODORAL AND T3, BUT STOPPED ADRENAL FOR 4 WEEKS BEFORE TEST) ZRT-BLOODSPOT TSH 0.7 (0.5-3.0) **-4 FT4 1.0 (0.7-2.5) **-2 FT3 1.9 (2.5-6.5) **-7 TO -8 It just seems as if I am going the wrong way when I place them on Dr. Rinds thyroid scale. Guest guest
03/2008 (ON ISOCORT, IODORAL AND T3, BUT STOPPED ADRENAL FOR 4 WEEKS BEFORE TEST) ZRT-BLOODSPOT TSH 0.7 (0.5-3.0) **-4 FT4 1.0 (0.7-2.5) **-2 FT3 1.9 (2.5-6.5) **-7 TO -8 Were you on Isocort or not? Yu say you stopped adrenal for 4 weeks, did this include stopping Isocort? Your thyroid levels arenot showing LOW cortisl they are simply showing very lwo thyroid, you need alot more thyroid than what you are taking, and possibly less cortisll. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/
Guest guest
I'm sorry, I have been on Isocort(I sometimes call them adrenals) since August of 2007, but stopped them for 4 weeks before the testing. Do you think the best thing is to start taking my temps to see if what I'm taking is right? Or should I go ahead and add a 3rd dose of Isocort like you recommended, and up the thyroid? Or should I just up the thyroid? Right now I'm on 22.5 mcg of T3 a day. Thanks again for all your help. Sorry about all the questions Shan > > 03/2008 (ON ISOCORT, IODORAL AND T3, BUT STOPPED ADRENAL FOR 4 WEEKS > BEFORE TEST) > ZRT-BLOODSPOT > TSH 0.7 (0.5-3.0) **-4 > FT4 1.0 (0.7-2.5) **-2 > FT3 1.9 (2.5-6.5) **-7 TO -8 > > Were you on Isocort or not? Guest guest
With your thyroid labs you would probably do better on Armour than just T3. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://www.seewell4less.com/Valspage.htm Medical Alert Bracelets
