I think 's book is the best in terms of natural remedies you can try. For understanding your thyroid and medications, I'd recomend Your Thyroid and How to Keep it Healthy by Barry Durrant- Peatfield. Broda ' Hypothyroidism: the Unsuspected Illness is excellent reading for understanding everything the thyroid affects, but doesn't really go into natural remedies or medications. > Has anyone read Feeling Fat, Fuzzy, or Frazzled by Karilee Shames, > Shames? do you recommend the book? They do have many recommendations for natural supplements and how you can improve your health, along with medication discussions, so yes, I recommend this book. Is it easy to understand. I went and bought Safe Uses of Cortisol and it very hard to read. Especially when I am feeling brain fog. Yes, written in a very easy-to-understand way; he explains things well and this is a good reference book to have on hand. Barb

Hi Sherie I thought Barry Durrant-Peatfield's book was absolutely excellent. And he's got a good sense of humour, which made it an enjoyable as well as informative read.
