Guest guest
Does not look like you need any more B12. I would cut it back. Cortisoltesting while ON HC even the day before are not reliable, btu if I had to offer a guess I would say your dose is too low as oyu should not be running below range even before your AM dosing. You r T3 is stil alot higher than your T4 indicating what you are gettin is onot getting ot the cells which also indicates your HC dose is too low. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/
Guest guest
thanks for the feedback, what do you mean about rT3? I had FT3, and the range starts at 1.9, while T4 ends at 1.7, so how can you say my T3 is a lot higher than T4? confused... Liz > > Does not look like you need any more B12. Guest guest
Free t4 0.96 (0.76-1.7) ----------december 1.06 FT3 3.3 (1.9- 3.9)-------------december 3.5 OK Usually when T4 is below 1, T3 would be in the 2.2-2.8 range if other things such as conversions and use of thyroid are working well. That your Free T3 is MUCH higher than this means you are not utilizing the T3 for some reason, either low cortisol or high RT3. High RT3 usually shows up wiht highish T4 which you do not have. I am thinking it is your low cortisol causing the problem. This is one of the ways I use, aside form ACTUAL cortisol labs, to confirm low cortisol effects, looking at the T4 to T3 ratio. The other is high estrogen. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/
Guest guest
Ok, so the ideal would be to have the FT3 at 2.2 with under 1 T4. my doc didn't want to do RT3 for some reason. My cortisol was low in the morning before having my a.m. dose. But the thing is, I feel like all of my adrenal symptoms are fine...no more dizziness or excessive fatige etc., and when I went up to 25 mg, I started gaining weight so i've gone back down to 22.5 and feel the same as on 25. Will increasing the armour dose make a difference with the FT3 and T4? thanks vAl, Liz > > Free t4 0.96 (0.76-1.7) ----------december 1.06 > FT3 3.3 (1.9- 3.9)-------------december 3.5 > > OK Usually when T4 is below 1, T3 would be in the 2.2-2.8 range if other things such as conversions and use of thyroid are working well. Yes it will make a difference in T4 and T3 levels. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/
