Guest guest
Hey Chipper- It is my understanding that Depotestosterone is administered with an injection to achieve smaller doses. 's has injections every six-eight weeks because his endocrinologist is trying to spur on his growth and move him into puberty without moving him so quickly through puberty as to close off the growing period. He would need to be able to have a much larger dose to have a patch or gel. The lowest does gel is 5 mg per day - or 35 mg per week. His injections are 0.25 ml of a 100 mg/ml injectable, or 25 mg every six to eight weeks. According to the pamphlet inside the medication, a " normal " dosage is 40-200 ml every two to four weeks!!! I think part of being able to take a larger dosage (as in the patch or gel) is being finished with growing and having enough weight. I think the reason you had larger side-effects with the patch is because that dose was a little large for your weight. weighs about 115 pound now. I hope this helps, Yuka Return of Androgel/Androderm Patch? Morning mi amigos! I thought of asking you some questions, hope you won't mind. I have been taking my testosterone shots a year and a half (1 1/2 yrs) now. I noticed some improvement, like right now I'm 85 lbs, got an Adam's apple, and I guess I got some lean muscle mass too, right? I remembered I used to take androderm patch back in early 2000's, that when I graduated from college and went to dog grooming school, remember that? There was a big difference, like deeper voice, gaining weight, some body fat, more muscles, and of course a couple of side effects: mood swings, and I tend to get a rash from the androderm patch. I used to feel much warmer back then, right? Somehow, I noticed that I'm still skinny as ever. I look like a skeleton a bit. I can't see any body fat on me, I don't have that much of chubby cheeks I used to. I remembered I used to have chubby cheeks back then, but now I don't! I was wondering, do you think I can go back to androderm patch, or just take androgel? Cuz, I would like to get some body fat, and feel much warmer. I'm getting tired of everyone saying that I'm skinny, like giving me comments how skinny I am and so on, I would like to gain some weight faster, get some more body fat.And of course going to the doctor once a month, for the nurse to give me the injection too, dang that's getting a bit tiring. I would like to take my own medications at home instead. Will it be okay if I switch medications, or no? Lemme know, thanks! Guest guest
Yuka and Chip, started testosterone shots about a year ago. He gets 100mg once a month, it was upped from 50mg three months ago. He also is one growth hormone. Puberty is definitely starting. But Chip, he's a skinny kid too 5'4 " 110lbs, we tease him that he has a body fat of -15%.
