is 6 and just lost her two front bottom teeth and her back molars have

been coming in for months! Her teacher says that the, in her experience, start

biting when they are teething! (she goes to a small school for children with

special needs) This is the first time she's been a biter! Now the hair pulling

and pinching are an entirely different story!

As for the response to the negative behaviors - just let me reiterate to be calm

and quite! I think loves the loud reaction she gets from her sisters and

Dad because she is hard of hearing - she reacts the same way when someone

sneezes or laughs really loud. She loves to get a reaction!

Hang in there!

Re: Pinch, pull, bite

Crystal, once again we are on the same page. Alissa bit me really

hard for the first time last week!! When she gets really frustrated

she squeezes her own neck or pinches or bites us. I feel soooo bad

when she does it cause it's completley out of frustration and a

result of the lack of communication skills. We say no too but in the

mean time I agree...we gotta nip it early. I can't wait to hear

other stories. !
