Guest guest
, how exciting! Tim must be very happy. Did he bring his medals to school today! On the way out to the event yesterday, it starting raining, very hard and it was windy and quite cold. We got to the school and it stopped, but the wind was brutal, we did the parade and the rain came down again. My husband found a tent for him and , but it did not let up. We ran to the car, waited it out for about 1/2 hour, but we were damp and cold. So with disapointment, we went home. Lots of others did the same. Fortunatly, Thursday, her practice team had a final practice. It was at the High School track, the track team helped the students. There were about 100 people watching, 2 school board member's and some administrators! The kids were given warm up jackets and trophies and had pizza and cupcakes as they were presented w/their trophies, This helped us to not feel so bad! Guest guest
yes, the medals and ribbon went to school and he wore his shirt--an adult small that went almost to his knees he was the youngest of all of our group--most were young to old adults. made pat and I think about the future.... sorry couldn't compete, but at least she had a good practice etc. on thurs. I'm sure she enjoyed that--but must have been disappointing. Re: special olympics , how exciting! Tim must be very happy. Did he bring his medals to school today! Guest guest
, Stupendous!!! Those wonderful days are worth millions..Give Tim and Keegan a high five for me. One of the great things with our kids is to see the sportsmanship they display. They are such great young men for their spirit they share with others. I can't wait to meet the parents who are raising such wonderful young men. mom to 31 > > hi all, just wanted to give you the results of tim's big day. he received a silver--2nd place for the softball throw, third and a bronze for the 100yd walk, and a ribbon and 4th place for 50 yd dash. he had a wonderful day although freezing--we were bundled up and in blankets--it was sooooooo windy. his teacher came and that made himj especially happy. > > > keegan on the other hand, played his heart out the last two days and unfortunately they lost both games by quite a margin, but his response was we will beat them next time! so, I hope they do! hope everyone has a good week! > > > >
