Guest guest
, she was a HOOT getting all those awards, she would audibly gasp when she heard her name (they had a really loud microphone so she heard it all - yay!). All the stuff is on the front hall table for display but I imagine she'll want them in her room before too long! > > Kennedy, Kennedy, Kennedy!!!! > > How much fun was it to get all that stuff??....Trophies, ribbons, > certificates. Guest guest
, that is great. We are all proud of Kennedy.! amazes me, she loves to bowl! she is the top bowler in her class! Our district has bowling of rthe special needs kids every tTuesday from Fall through Spring! usually gets a spare or has even gotten some strikes! (She gets to use the bumpers so that helps alot!) Way to go Kennedy! Cathie ************************************** See what's free at http://www.aol.com.
Guest guest
, it is also so great the way the other kids have learned to help kids w/special needs. That is my main reason why i have tried to keep in our district. Everyone needs to know about all types of children. When i went to school, we never saw any kids w/special needs. I dont know where they went to school. What a great experience for all. Kennedy being able to play in a regular program is awsome! Way to go! Guest guest
Thanks Cathie - they ARE amazing aren't they? I was worried about how Kennedy might make out with a regular " Youth Bowling League " but she fit right in and is doing great with it. I was thinking of putting her in Special Olympics bowling (that's all they have around here for Spec. Olympics) but it was too far and mostly older people so I said the heck with it, she is going with the regular Youth Bowling League. It was a GREAT experience for her, she really had to learn her stuff because it is an older bowling alley with no bumpers (which she was used to) - but one of the boys used to go stand a little ways down at the beginning and open his legs for her and say " roll it through my legs, Kennedy " to give her a place to aim - it was really cute! > > , that is great.
