Guest guest
Low cortisol can cause muscle wasting. I went from 125 lbs. to 108 over the course of a year, and hovered around 110 for 3 years. I'm 5'9 " . I even lost subcutaneous fat. This all happened during the time I was diagnosed with mercury toxicity and had my amalgams replaced and then tried 3 chelating drugs. I think my adrenals sank to their lowest output during that time, judging from all the symptoms. I didn't have an adrenal function test, unfortunately; I was just trying to survive.
