Guest guest
I htink you should try 30mg HC for a couple days and see if your temps come up, if not, thne go back to 25 for a few days and then LOWER further. This is called try and see which works best, and it may be thta you are gettign to a point in adrnel healing where oyu eed less cortisoll, but I suspect you simply need a tad mroe. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/
Guest guest
Hmm... okay. While you are suspecting that I may need more HC, your wanting to see if I need less: you think perhaps that may be the case (ie., possibly needing less HC)? Currently dosing at 10-7.5-5-2.5 (25) -- going to 30, should I dose: 10-10-5-5? As always thanks. I must admit, I was a little bummed out because I felt I was getting sooooo close. > > I htink you should try 30mg HC for a couple days and see if your temps > come up, if not, thne go back to 25 for a few days and then LOWER > further. Guest guest
Thanks, Val. I will circle back to let you know which worked best. > > >>Hmm... okay. Guest guest
Your temps are supposed to drop when your period starts. Page down to see chart. http://biology.clc.uc.edu/courses/bio105/sexual.htm Temps drop at ovulation, then rise to keep the egg warm, then drop again when your period starts. Days 2 and 3 of your period are when you can get the most accurate basal reading. Barb > > Last week, we (you and I) decided that it was time to increase the > Armour slightly. Guest guest
Thanks, Barbara. It was my understanding that indeed basal temps do drop at ovulation -- and then again as the period does begin. What was confusing to me was that I am on day 4 of my period (which I have to say is barely a period with very light -- almost non-existent spotting) -- but it is not just the basals that have dropped. Daily temps have dropped significantly. Thanks for the link. > > Your temps are supposed to drop when your period starts. Guest guest
Val - did the increase from 20mg of Cortef to now, over the few months since the fall, cause the RT3? > > It sounds to me like you are fighting high RT3. > > -- > Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV > > http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ > http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ > http://www.seewell4less.com/Valspage.htm Medical Alert Bracelets >
Guest guest
It is hard to say what caused it. But generally when the thyroid is not being utilized well it can go to RT3. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://www.seewell4less.com/Valspage.htm Medical Alert Bracelets
Guest guest
Okay -- looking over some old labs. On 12/22/07 blood draw (3 grains of Armour, 20g HC): FT4 1.43 (.61-1.76) FT3 3.7 (2.3-4.2) RT3 was ordered but NOT done. Went back a month later -- same doses of Armour and HC was at 25mg..... doctor asked for all thyroid labs AND RT3 again -- but this time, lab did ONLY RT3 -- so I have no FT4/FT3 to compare to except the above. 01/16/08: RT3: 261 (90-350) What is your assessment, please? > > It is hard to say what caused it.
