Guest guest
, May I forward your email to a friend who is a breast cancer survivor? I think she is on a great list. OT - Breast cancer list This is way off topic, but perhaps someone can be of help. This list has helped me so much since I was diagnosed with diabetes. I have a friend who is a breast cancer survivor thanks to a double mastectomy and several rounds of chemo. She is not really into going to face to face support groups, but a group similar to ours would be wonderful for her. Now that she has been cancer-free for a while, she appears to be having some delayed grieving for the loss of her breasts. I try to be supportive but I know that the best people to help her are people who have gone through it. Are any of you aware of such a list that I could suggest to her? Thanks for any replies. Guest guest
I can't recommend a specific group but there are 230 groups listed under yahoo groups under breast cancer. The most active and largest is breastcancer2. You might suggest she give it a try. She could go through the list and see if there are others. MSN, Google and others have groups so a search could be done. If you want me to I can research it for you as research is my area of expertise. In fact the mls listed in my email stands for Master of Library Science. Bev in Oregon OT - Breast cancer list This is way off topic, but perhaps someone can be of help.
