I feel that, since I started taking Armour sublingually and twice a day instead of once, everything seems more even. I have a minor surgical outpatient procedure scheduled April 1 and would like to be more off HC than on. Spring is here and a good time for new beginnings too! No rush and I wanted guidance as to how best to wean. Guest guest Posted March 7, 2008 Report Share Posted March 7, 2008 Well Hc is not a goof dthing to trial for 2 months as that is a MINIMUM time for it to work asn most I see take abotu 10 months to 2 years but I will help you wean down. It dopes NOT mean you will not be adrenal insufficient at the time of your surgery however. Being omn HC is not the danger during surgeries, being cortisol deficient is. Your body needs abotu 300mg cortils to help it through the shock of a surgery and if yoiur adrenals cannpt provide that it is dangerous. Can I do those together with the HC?
