Not yet but I'm actually planning to. He has a web page

drmarkrhodes.com

and he posts to

http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/HormonesandHealth-Naturally/

periodically, I like what he has to say. If you join that group you can search

the archives

for his posts and get a sense of him, also somebody else posted an article about

him on

that group that gives a nice bio.

There was a post on STTM awhile back from someone who did pay for a

consult and it wasn't a positive one. She felt he was not very

helpful and stretched out the time he talked which ended up being

quite expensive, although I don't recall what he charged at the

time. Maybe someone else here remembers that post?

That would be a nice post to read. Can you remember any of the details to help

look it up?

So I decided to go ahead with the phone consult and will give my biased review.

I reviewed the other posts so it helped me be prepared.

The man does talk slow and wants to go on about what he wants to talk to you

about. His theory for my results were that everything was caused by one thing

and that the method of the testing for hormones with saliva is superior over

serum hormone tests. That is the first time I have heard that in regards to

hormones levels. When I asked for resources his only reference was another

forum on yahoo with one article. He also did not give any clear suggestions for

treatment other than to stop the one hormone which I will ask for ideas in

another thread. At least he didn't try to sell me any supplements which I read

about on his website. He told me which hormone panel I would need to retest in

about 4 months and did offer to order them for me. I kept track of my time and

when I was ready to end it I did. So to wrap it up I am not any further along

with ideas but my wallet is not that much lighter since I wrapped it up pretty

quick. A couple of wrong supps would have

cost the same.
