Can't wait for the videos. I'm glad you like Kennedy's, I posted a funny

one yesterday with her playing in the sand talking about her really, really

deep holes. She's a ham.

So, what does think about meeting all the other families? Does he

know of his " celebrity " status here on the list?

I am not sure what thinks about meeting the other families. I do know

that when he met the Dodd's at CHLA they were so very charming to him that he

was completely at ease and his very best self. I think it is being able to be

his best self that he will really enjoy.

I do know he thinks of the conference in the most personal terms - he gets to

hang out with his mates - , Chip and ) They've been the Three

Musketeers for two years, and they are looking forward very much to being Four!

)

Last year walking with , Chip, and Chip's friend (who is deaf

and signs only) at Disneyland was amazing. They were so complete in their world

- and it is a beautiful world - so kind, so noble, so brilliant. They are such

true gentlemen. I was proud to be there with them. I would take , Chip

and places and they would make themselves completely at home, converse in

sign for hours - animated, interested, courteous, gregarious - they looked like

a slice of life depicted in French paintings from the Impressionistic period by

Toulouse Lautrec.

The best thing about Charge Celebrity-hood is it is affirming. Nothing like the

celebrity status he had in elementary school - what I referred to as " Yorkshire

terrier status " - fawned over and petted - but not included.

So exciting!

Her video is precious. Kennedy is so wholehearted about everything, isn't she?

It is completely disarming and lovely. It's what we all want really - to be

completely ourselves. Your blog is so lovely - it reflects the love, grace and

joy which is infused throughout your family.

I'm glad you like the blog Yuka - it's such a fun and easy way to throw up

an update; it's much easier than the conventional web site we have. I am

just so thrilled to be getting to meet you & and see all the older

" gang " hanging out together.
