HERE is a nugget, a piece of information, re: a medical evaluation for a

specific condition for

which treatment is helpful. (see Para.2)

tism_

sm)

excerpt:

" Many neurological conditions can cause autism including congenital

infection (German Measles), neonatal brain injury, genetic abnormalities

(Fragile X

syndrome, Rett syndrome, tuberous sclerosis, Down syndrome, CHARGE syndrome,

and others), and metabolic conditions (PKU, organic acidurias, and others). "

and:

" Some children with autism have “developmental regression†that begins

generally between 15 and 30 months of age. These children “go backwards,â€

losing

skills they once had. They need to be evaluated carefully for metabolic

diseases and for a kind of epilepsy called LKS. Treatments of these conditions

can

be helpful "

(Paragraph 2 explains why half the nation has focused onto vaccines as the

cause of autism.

Here you have a happy, normally developing baby who suddenly begins to

regress.. When they

look for the common cause within that timeframe-what's there? ) I am not

endorsing that opinion-

merely pointing out how the suspicion has arisen, for those not well-versed

in the subject.
