Guest guest
Don't get discouraged about the size of the tonsils and adenoids! While still in tact, the ENT said Meagan's were large. Once they came out, he looked at them and said they were actually quite small. He was afraid the surgery would not be a success. It has been a HUGE success (no more apnic events or snoring!!). The end result is that Meagan's airway is smaller than normal, and although the tonsils and adenoids were smaller than normal, they still blocked too much of HER airway. And FYI, it took about 3 weeks for her swelling to go down....remember each child is different. I was freaking out after 2 weeks with no change. But, then after week 3, she slept perfect! Good luck, and lots of love! , mommy to Meagan (CHaRgE) and 2 1/2 year old twins, and big brother 4 years, married to the best daddy in the world for 10 years! The mention of my child's name might make me cry. Not mentioning my child's name will break my heart. Unknown
