People who haven't had their expectations and assumptions torn down as we have do not easily understand our joy. Something others take for granted comes into our lives long after we have given up assuming it will, yet we are happy all the same, because we are in the moment rejoicing in the individuated miracle that is our child regardless of circumstance. Our children go from perfect to deeper fuller perfection! ) Yay! Aman Motwane said something I hold very dear: " God, please open my eyes so that I may see the blessings you have already put before me. " This was a paradigm shift for me, as I was able to see that my greatest blessings have come from my most difficult circumstances - but to see the blessing as inherent, rather than wrought was a tremendous shift for me. Have a wonderful day! love, y It amazes me Eva is now 2 and she just amazes me everyday, I know she doesn't talk and she doesn't sign to much yet but she KNOWS EVERYTHING GOING ON AROUND HER!! She knows when we are at the hospital for a doctors appointment before we even get inside she knows while we are still in the car and in the parking lot. She also knows when we are close to my parents house who live in Wisconsin. As soon as we get off the freeway she knows we are close and gets very excited and as we pull in the driveway she yells with excitement. I just love that she is showing so much expression. I am amazed that I was worried about not knowing what she needed if she didn't speak, how will I help her if I can't understand her. And I do understand her and I know what she needs everytime. So many people feel sorry us and I don't feel bad at all I am so happy and so blessed to have her in my life she is my butterfly. She is growing stronger and stronger everyday and spreading her wings to fly. Thanks for listening (well reading) I needed to get this out and tell the world!!
