Hi and Jada, I was on benzodiazepines for about 8 years, I

have been off of them for a little over a year. the first time I

tried to go off them I really got those adrenal /electric shocks.

those meds are very well known for messing with the GABA and serotonin

receptors. benzos really screw up the way the brain works and all our

neurotransmitters.at one year off the brain is still healing so those

shocks could be in part from being on those drugs for many years. I

also think those meds are a big reason why my adrenals are so bad now.

I take L-tyrosine and L-phenylalanine when I get up and I take

melatonin , GABA and 5-HTP before going to bed.

I must know, how and where do you get serotonin supplements? Is it an

RX? and how much do you take???
