Hello everyone,

I hope someone out there can help me. I just got antibodies test

results back. Can anyone help me interpret them? The numbers seem

really scary to me:

Thyroid Peroxidase (anti-TPO) = 1,300 (lab range: greater than 60)

Thyroglobulin Antibody = 276 (lab range: greater than 60)

If my other tests are needed to understand what is going on, here are

those numbers:

T3 Uptake = 32 (lab range: 23-37)

T4 Total = 8.0 (lab range: 4.5-10.9)

FTI = 2.6 (lab range: 1.4-3.1)

TSH = 9.677 (lab range: 0.35-5.50)

I would so appreciate any advice from anyone. My doctor doesn't

really know anything - in fact, he knew I wanted to become pregnant,

but didn't even warn me of the possible affects of hypothyroidism on

the fetus! I don't know what I would have done without my support

groups to teach me! Thank you all for being there!
