Guest guest
Val ~ Ok, I see what you're saying now. May I ask, if you were me, would you supplement DHEA? And if so, when/ how much? Cortisol: Morning 13 normal (13-24 norm) Noon 1 depressed (5-10 norm) Afternoon <1 depressed (3-8 norm) Midnight 7 elevated (1-4 norm) Cortisol burden = 22 DHEA = 3 I'm on HC - raising slowly before adding Armour. > > >>So, would it be best NOT to supplement DHEA, pregnenolone, > progesterone etc? And work instead on healing the gut and optimizing > nutrition?<< > > No because some of these problems are directly related to low hormones. Especially in the case of low cortisol. I would supplement the hormones that are low not a prohormone, just liek taking Armoru or T3 in stead of just taking T4 and depending on a conversion for it to work. > > -- > Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV > > http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ > http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ > http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ >
