Does anyone know the effects of Colloidal Silver or tried it for sinus

infections? I have heard its good for this and I suffer from chronic

sinus infections and stay on antibiotics most of hte time. However, now

i'm reading that it interferes with thyroxine. Any advice?

It sounded great from what I had read till I came across a homeopathi

veterinarian that pointed out it is a heavy metal that is VERY hard for

the body to detox. Chronic sinus infecitons ae a low cortisl symptoms so

I would work on correcting the cortisl problems before resortin gto that.

Misty,

I don't know where you are reading that. I've never seen a single

substantiated instance of silver interfereing with anything. For advice

on silver effects and usages, you need to ask people with experience and

knowledge, which, is not this list. No offense to anyone. I ask on this

list about thyroid and adrenals but for silver questions I ask on

silverlists.

Val,

Which veterinarian told you that? He/she is wrong.

Actually silver is NOT a heavy metal. It is a transitional metal. And

there is a study (admitedly a miniscule study of one person) that shows

it is excreted from the body in about 24 hours. Silver a " heavy metal "

is one of those myths that won't die, just like the myth that

replacement doses of HC will cause the same side effects as massive

doses of pred.
