I have heard its good for this and I suffer from chronic sinus infections and stay on antibiotics most of hte time. However, now i'm reading that it interferes with thyroxine. Any advice? Guest guest Posted February 27, 2008 Report Share Posted February 27, 2008 It sounded great from what I had read till I came across a homeopathi veterinarian that pointed out it is a heavy metal that is VERY hard for the body to detox. I've never seen a single substantiated instance of silver interfereing with anything. For advice on silver effects and usages, you need to ask people with experience and knowledge, which, is not this list. No offense to anyone. And there is a study (admitedly a miniscule study of one person) that shows it is excreted from the body in about 24 hours.
