Guest guest
Dear Tim, I know you're an open minded fellow, and don't take these things personally. Yet, it's difficult to discuss Charge in terms of behaviors without acknowledging your work and position as an " official " voice on the subject. So, let me just say..I can only begin to imagine the constraints required in your profession. I realize you must conform to standards of accountability and statistics, of feedback, and availability of information and personal observation..and on and on. A very large task for you and all the professionals involved with the list. I'm just trying to shake the tree to see how many apples (words of wisdom) fall from it, not finding fault with the tree. I know what I would do if behaviors were a concern for us-I would (and did) check out everything that had a chance of making a positive difference. You know that it has happened that despite 's deafblindness, balance, tone, etc. etc. many significant involvements, we have very mild behavior issues. So, there is not necessarily one to one correlation between the two, and I am petitioning for dialogue toward the next step, the fresh direction, after all the multi-sensory issues are accomodated. If you feel I am overestimating the extent of the impact of behavior in Charge, please say so. The worst kind of talk is no talk at all. ;-) in Ma.
