My doctor is literally forcing me to take armour. Im not too

thrilled, but am taking it as a sign because Ive been offered it many

times in the past and have been holding off.

How much should i start with?

I've been on 75mcg of levothyroxine (synthroid)... for almost a year.

I was going to wait a while longer, and re-take the saliva testing

before making the switch, but have one pill left of the synthroid so

have no choice but to start it ASAP.

Any and all sugesstions would be great.

He said just start in taking 30mcgs twice a day, which sounds about

equivilant to what Im on. But is that too much to start off? Ive got

both 60mcg pills and 30 mcg pills on hand and a pill cutter on hand.

I'm pretty hypo

my TSH was 3.50( .40-4.5)

T3 free was 269 (230-420)

and t4 free was 1.3 (0.8-1.8)

Also have high reverse t3 and antibodies.

I think I could benefit from the T3 judging by this level taking

recently, right?

Ive got Cortef 5mg on hand just incase...as well as DHEA.

I've been taking Vit C high doses and B12 lozenges, as well as using

redmonds sea salt with every meal for adrenal support.

I felt alot better until starting my period (surprise surprise thats

always a tough week for adrenals it seems). My temps were pretty

stable with an evening spike from 99.0-99.9. Other than that...

Advice please on how to start this without having scary symptoms.

Im the type who will run to a ER if something doesnt feel right.

Thanks all
