Nothing like a little salt in the wound, huh?

And ooooh, the poor guy-all the cars he wanted were gone....

Do we believe he is suffering in his convertible???????

I don't know about his tongue, but he must have a very big

cheek!! (I so hope you are familiar with that expression-or

you're really going to wonder what I'm talking about.)

How many days do we have left to send you out to dinner with

a gorgeous mysterious dark eyed stranger? Oh heck, I'd settle

for a babysitter for a couple of hours if I were you.

I know! I'll send the yacht for you!!!

I pity how he is suffering with the convertible. Ahhhhh, poor thing! Yes

please to the yatch and as for the dark eyed stranger, is Denzel free this

weekend? Yes, know the tongue in cheek thing but hoping his tongue is in

his cheek because he is suffering chilli heat or something unbearable like

that! Still want Denzel though.

Ok little story time. Had to crack up laughing this evening when Simon

phoned and spoke to Elly. She immediately told him how there were three

slugs asleep in " his snail " . A little background, he is most grouchy about

the fact that slugs keep eating his plants, so Elly bought him a porcelain

snail for his birthday which you fill with beer to catch the slugs which are

apparently so attracted to beer that they just crawl into wherever they

detect it. So I dutifully put it in garden and filled it with Simon's cheap

beer, and as it poured with rain yesterday, there were plenty slugs in

garden. 3 were in his snail this morning but I didn't have the heart to

tell Elly they were drowned in the beer so told her they were drunk and had

fallen asleep in daddy's beer. So there she was telling him this tale while

I just sort of tried not to choke on my pasta (bland and boring as it was

since the cook is away. See, I do miss him for something!!!!).

If anyone from the conference is reading this, would they please try to

point Simon and the other Brit guy out to each other? There is a sort of

Laurel and Hardy tale to tell but they are looking for each other and

neither is familiar with the other so do me a kindness and introduce them.

The other Brit guy lives in Ca (Sorry, really late but despite having spoken

this evening, I was midchanging the girls for bed so don't recall name.

Durrrr.........). Yuka will know (hopefully) as has met the familly.

OK, late now so going to bed before I disgrace myself any further!!!

Good night England, good day america.

Flo,

I almost wish it was going to rain in SoCal.. just to put a kink in Simon's

convertible fun..

BTW the other Brit he's looking for is Brown.. (who lived in London before

he came to

grace us at California Deaf/Blind Services) he wont miss him tho.. is one

of those guys you can't really miss.

He is probably doing at least a couple workshops... Likes his tea hot and

strong and his Welsh accent is to die for..

can you tell I really love him ???

Oh.. can we share Denzel ???

Casey, you are a fan indeed! You keeping a dossier?

and Simon have found each other and chewed the cud plenty. I failed

to specify the other Brit is a new(ish) dad of a little guy with CHARGE.

Oooops! Had of course forgotten that also lives in Ca.

And OHHHH YES, a little soggy convertible would make me cry with laughter!

Even when he is away, we know how to have fun at Simon's expense!

And not being a selfish woman, of course we can share Denzel!!! Now there

is a smile to die for!
